The best "bodega"/"corner store" in OTR. It's the cleanest, classiest and most convenient. The guy who works there is also amazing! He's very friendly and helpful and always remembers his customers. There is a good selection here that may differ from what the other places may have and there's also dry food and frozen foods. The alcohol selection is pretty good to for a corner store. Also he has a nice tobacco/nicotine selection. Check him out, I won't go anywhere else.
The owner/operator is so so nice!! He's almost always there and willing to help. He's offered to help me carry my purchase home more often than not. I've never accepted because I can handle it myself, but he also remembers me when it's been weeks or months since I've been in. You cannot ask for a better location!

This is my go-to quick stop in the neighborhood. They're open more and later than most and have a great selection of wine & beer! Perfect spot for neighborhood regulars to pick up a quick snack or last minute cooking supplies you forget you needed. Recommend to visitors and neighbors!
This is/has been one of my favorite buildings in OTR since we moved here almost 8 years ago. Originally I was disappointed to see it was going to be a "bodega" instead of a hip new bar. But let me tell you - this place has come in for the win so many times we've lost count. They have household items, eggs, rice, limes/lemons, beer and wine! (And surprisingly some good wine!) The owner is friendly, and overall it's a step above your typical bodega.
Not your typical downtown bodega. This is more of a mini grocery store which is nice to have when there is something you need but don't have in your pantry. The variety of things I've bought here include rice, pizza rolls, coffee, bread, milk, limes, ice, potatoes, orange juice, dog treats, beer, wine, flour, pasta, paper towels, and the list goes on. You're not going to get the variety you'll get from Kroger but they have the essentials and in a pinch it's perfect. Like I mentioned they recently started selling beer and wine which is nice and the selection is decent and includes local stuff. Not a huge selection but again it gets the job done. The owner is friendly and always helpful. I hope to see them start to get busy because I'd like to see them last. Overall, a great store when you're in a pinch for something smaller bodega's wouldn't have.
